There's options for high prescriptions. I'm a -7.5 and I just pick a higher index to make the lenses thinner.
A normal pair of glasses is usually less than $100 especially after the discount. The only way they can get up past $200 is if you pick all of the craziest options, and that's still cheaper than the typical RayBans or LensCrafters and Pearle vision glasses. I paid damn near $600 for my old glasses from a mainstream store at the mall a couple years ago

I tried ordering from several U.S. websites who claimed they had them in stock or that they could order them just for a few weeks to pass by and they had to cancel because the red version has been discontinued.
All other colors like dark havana or black, blue are apparently still available and I kind of want to get the dark havana ones as well now...
They're the Marc Jacobs 207 eyeglasses from 2015 in
Opal burgundy.

They have the same colors in the 206 and 205 style but the 207 have more frame height which I like.
