:salute:

Someone is being reasonable. To act like SEC school boosters are the only ones cutting checks is :beli:

With Bama it's not just the checks, but moreso WINNING AND GETTING PLAYERS TO THE LEAGUE.
Its why michigan was pumping players to the league from 97 => 07...if you started for them and were solid YOU WERE going to be looked at, no matter what position. I don't even need to name the players.

The answer is because Nick Saban coaches guys to perform at alabama, and not the NFL; he is not CONCERNED with their performance in the NFL, he is concerned with their performance at Alabama, which begets them an OPPORTUNITY to make the nfl. If they don't perform at the next level, thats their fault, not his.

Its not his job to recruit NFL players.

your logic would be similar to Elementary school dont have to prepare you for Middle school, Middle dont have to prepare you for Jr High and so on.. College dont have to prepare you for Life..

I get it now... lol ohhhhhh OK

you know there's a huge difference between HS athlete and NFL player. the GOAT recruits and coaches them to be beast in his system then sends them on their merry way.
What happens in the NFL is on the player whether he went to Alabama or Larry Holmes U. I don't see how some people don't realize that

horrible comparison. but using it... a teacher prepares you for the test in their class not the test to the next level. they give you the tools that you need to advance but whether or not you understand it at the next level is on the student.
