There's enough Mexicans here to support this team and make them relevant, but does anyone actually care about MLS? I don't think so especially with the NFL coming to town...to me this is just more traffic in an area that didn't need any more.

Nah this team is supposed get all the Euro snobs(who only watch EPL, La Liga, Champions League), all the Mexicans, all the hipsters, and soccer fans in general- everything the Galaxy refused and wouldn't market to. This isn't your father's MLS breh. And the NFL team will be in Inglewood or Carson plus they play in the winter.. MLS is in the summer.

Carson is only 10 miles away from Downtown though. It ain't like they in Pasadena

Pasadena would've been better than Carson imo. The Stub Hub Center where the Galaxy play is on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills and there's so much sh*t you can't do up there because the school runs the stadium. You'd think that team would be huge out here but they're is so far out of touch with the city, they don't market, no gear- people don't really care for their cult Herbalife sponsor on their jersey, they don't recognize their fans/supporters groups, etc.
