Taped fist only happened because Vince wanted Austin to win. He only put over guys like Khalil and Brock because they were Vince guys. He never went out his way to make anyone look good. Constant burials of dudes like Hardy, RVD, Pre 03 Angle. The deadman of work rate. Didn't have a solid 3 star Match until HBK. It's about time someone spoke the truth

He had some dope matches with Mankind before he feuded with HBK

And in all fairness to him most of his feuds pre-Mankind were with dudes like Yokozuna, Giant Gonzales, Kamala, King Kong Bundy and Kama

This was a long ass thread, and I didn't even hit all of the topics that I wanted to. I wanted to go in on how he is that they use a photo of him from 10 years ago on PPV posters, how overrated the streak was, how terrible American Bad Ass Undertaker was (I might do this later in the comments), his WCW/USWA stuff, his wack ass worked shoot in the Attitude era, his fake ass confrontation with Brock Lesnar and how he managed to get his win back from Brock Lesnar almost a year and a half later.

Bigelow was amazing. So were Vader and Umaga. I'd put Taker up there with them no question. His style didn't "suck" at all, when you're pretty much billed for five years as a monster who hardly ever leaves his feet there's not exactly much you can do

He had great matches with Bret Hart in 1996 and 1997. IMO one of his best matches was with Bret Hart at One Night Only in 1997.

Yeah, Summerslan 97 and ONO were great matches. The RR96 match was solid as well..
