This team has caused me too much stress, especially that win over the pacers
this is what pisses me off about mark cuban's comments about tanking.....this team is actually very competitive. they are in almost every game. but you wouldn't know that if you didn't watch our games. most people don't so they'll take cuban's comments at face value. i dont want to be accused of rigging for the #1 pick.
because of cuban's comments and the SI piece, I don't think the league will allow us to have that #1 pick.

Carlisle has been playing Dennis off the ball recently, letting JJ bring it up the floor instead, they guys on the Locked On Mavs podcast think the plan behind that is to take a look at how well Dennis plays off the ball so they get an idea if he would fit well with Doncic
Wouldn't take that as a guarantee that Doncic is #1 on their board, but it does show that they're preparing for every outcome, and that's good to see

Dirk is lowkey having a great shooting season, no sweeter shot in the league than his rainbow trey 
Dennis and Nerlens seem to enjoy playing together, which means I wouldn't be TOO upset if the Mavs ended up with the 5th or 6th pick and ended up drafting Mo Bamba - I can't see Nerlens sticking around, and as long as Bamba fills out and puts on some more muscle, he should be a guaranteed defensive star in the NBA
Mavs are in possession of 3rd worst record right now (thank you, Kings) but it's gonna be tough to stay there judging by how hard the remaining schedules are for the some of the other tanking teams, especially the Suns, Hawks and Kings

I think DSJ has good chemistry with Noel and it would probably be beneficial to bring him back. I don't like the idea of losing Noel to go get a Noel type replacement. I'm for keeping Noel and trying landing Porter or Bagley. I think that's the quickest solution to turning this thing around.
