Mavs are not that popular of a team around the league. They're probably third in Texas. Would Porter play 2 and DSJ run point? Same thing with Doncic?
Porter plays off the ball. While Doncic is a ball dominant 2 like a James Harden.
I personally don't see how DSJ and Doncic could work. When both players are ball dominant.
The only team that can see taking MPJ before 5 are the Grizzlies. But they would take Doncic before MPJ tho.

I think the Mavs should at least try it, but it seems as though they value him far more than just a basketball player, judging by how much of his community work they've been promoting on twitter. It would be a smart basketball move for sure but I'm not sure they would do it
