Would you guys do a Barnes + future pick for 4th pick + Parsons?

I think the Mavs should at least try it, but it seems as though they value him far more than just a basketball player, judging by how much of his community work they've been promoting on twitter. It would be a smart basketball move for sure but I'm not sure they would do it

Yea the mavs brass are big on culture of the team. Anyone that doesn't fit the culture they get them out asap. Barnes fits like a glove...gym rat, hardworking, active in the community, doesn't stay on social media, quiet and lowkey. They wont let a bunch of young guys on the team without someone to show them "how to be a professional"

Dirk, Wes, Barnes, Harris, and Barea's work ethic were a big influence on Dsj last yr. He's reportedly a gym rat himself.

Barnes is a good representative for the franchise off the court. He takes care of his business on the court too. He has a big cosign from Dirk. Remember they asked Dirk's input about giving Parsons a big contract and he told mgmt to pass.

Personally I'd rather keep him and try to continue to build pieces around him. Parsons is poison who I believe tries to use his relationship with Cuban to gain favors. I don't want that type of dude around young players.
