Thought it was really good. Not on par, but kind of gave some vibes to Top Gun Maverick. Last race scene set up well to where you feel invested in it.

I kind of have the feeling this is an imax movie or naw. Top Gun didn’t feel that way.

I will be able to catch it on the plane in October. It might be imax only for me.

Kinda feels like he or his mgt team is fukkin up. Which maybe isn't fair bc Hollywood is Hollywood ( ) but even that's not an excuse with what i mentioned earlier in this thread:

Damson may have the "look" (pause) but he needs to start getting busy/busier with the acting roles

A number of young brehs in their 30s are getting steady mainstream action, from Mamoudou Athie (Elemental, Archive 81, Sorry for your Loss, Jurassic World)... to Aaron Pierre (Rebel Ridge, Mufasa, Green Lantern)... to recent notable one-offs like Aldis Hodge (Cross), David Jonsson (Alien Romulus), and Aaron Moten (Fallout).

I know he been eating off that one drug show for like 7 years but Damson whiffing opportunities to secure more franchises. Any of Elemental, Green Lantern, or Fallout would've been good for him. Hopefully this F1 flick can be a conduit but idk

Like, his agent letting him down if Mamoudou Athie scoopin up all them mainstream roles, and all Damson got coming up is a Miles Davis biopic and npc voice overs for a video game. Tho, there's also the possibility/reality that he's just not a great actor.
