i think a dry snitch is when you imply that someone has done something without being specific in the details...for instance:

two brothers are in a room where a broken jar of cookies is...the mom walks in mad as fukk and one brother jumps up saying how they didn't do anything and just got home..even saying that the other brother was home all day...but not saying who actually did it...

i've also see people defining it as a method of distracting people from you when you get caught doing something...

like...Brother A gets caught breaking the jar to sneak some cookies and before the mom whoops his ass, he says how "Brother B" thew up in the sink last month and never got in trouble

HTH

No. Dry snitching is directly snitching on someone or a situation that has nothing to do with you

I snitch on my neihbor for doing some illegal shyt that is fukking up my property tax. That's snitching.

Dry snitching is being across town and seeing someone do something illegal that doesn't effect me what so ever and snitching

both hoe shyt but if it doesn't effect you it's worse and called dry snitching

yeah they both are snitching but a snitch that is getting some benefit has a reason. someone that gets nothing good from a situation is a dry snitch you dumb fukk

do me??? who said I did this. I'm giving you a situation to describe dry snitching(for no personal gain) compared to snitching for personal gain.

Nah, that ain't dry snitching.

I think dry snitching would be if you were talking to someone and was like "Hey, I remember one time me and my brother were bored and we went and robbed the cashier at the corner store."

I think dry snitching would be described as snitching on someone but not being aware that you're doing it.

Knicks' Raymond Felton arrested

NEW YORK -- Knicks point guard Raymond Felton was arrested early Tuesday on three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, according to a New York Police Department spokesman.

Felton was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm, which are felonies, and fourth-degree possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor, the spokesman said.

The charges don't stem from Felton brandishing the firearm but from possessing a gun he wasn't registered to have, according to the spokesman.

He is expected to appear in criminal court in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon.

Felton turned himself in at 12:50 a.m. ET and was questioned at the 20th Precinct in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, hours after the Knicks' loss to the Dallas Mavericks, the spokesman said.

Felton, 29, signed a three-year, $10 million contract with the Knicks before the 2012-13 season. He has struggled this season, his ninth in the NBA, shooting 40.3 percent from the field and 29.6 percent from 3-point range while averaging 10.4 points per game. The Knicks offered him in several packages before last Thursday's trade deadline but couldn't complete a deal.

New York City has strict gun possession laws.

In 2009, New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison after accepting a plea deal on a firearm charge following an incident in which he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his thigh when his gun went off in a Manhattan nightclub. He faced a minimum sentence of 3½ years if convicted at trial.
