I said this in the Soul Tape 2 thread, "Fab is the most consistent AVERAGE rapper of all-time." He never releases anything truly "great" nor does he releases anything "bad". He simply adapts with the times and keeps it moving. It's a marvel how he's managed to stay relevant.

Other than the name drops I wouldnt know if im listening to 05 fab or 2012 fab. Nygga been going the same way for a decade.

He need to take a page from nas playbook ... get the fans to connect with him a lil more. cuz right now those cheap rhymes are good in the moment then forgettable.

over 10 years in the game and I dont know nothing about Fab from his raps ... dont even know about his lifestyle ... thats pathetic.

He is where he deserves to be.

If I could use an analogy to sports, Fab is one of those stat complier type players, who hang around the league for ages, putting up decent stats, without ever being a distinguishable, marquee, game changing type talent. Fab puts out decent release, after mediocre release, but he always has that R&B joint w/ ______ artist of the moment, that catches on and does numbers.

Fab's been in my top 5 since Can't Deny It.
I remember downloading the Clues just to hear the one or two tracks he would kill.

Best album Real Talk, worst album From Nothing to Something

The only issue, and reason he doesn't get that respect is because he isn't that aggressive.

Say what you want, he's STILL HERE.

Fabolous's problem isn't his pen game, it's.....everything else.

No charisma, barely any mic presence and he's overall boring. Even J. Cole seems more alive than Fab does.

I know that Fab is trying the "laid back and calmly deliver your raps" thing but he comes off as more boring than anything.

He's not whack...but he isn't outstanding either.
