Sometimes The Booth goes way overboard with admiration. Fabo served his purpose. He wasn't really ahead of his time. What he did worked for that era. A full album of Fabo would've been overkill and definitely wouldn't have been what ya'll think it would have been. Fabo was more ofa character than he was an artist. It was light hearted fun that nobody really took serious, which is why he wouldn't have worked as a solo artist.
Look at Mannie Fresh. Breh was a fool on those Big Tymers' albums. He always had the funniest lines and even when he just talked or was calling out random animals, it was funny. The thing is, Birdman's solo career took off and people don't even know Mannie dropped a solo album. Same with Fabo. There's a reason Shawty Lo had solo success and Fabo didn't.
