Both of them never put out a classic album but Fab is the wittier MC. A lot of people are gonna be outraged but if you know both of their catalogs real well, you'll realize Fab just outdoes L and L had cats confused into him being nicer than what he really was. Those multis and punchlines he was doing could only take you so far, Fab mastered that and let go of the Multi's and just spoke to you especially with that Soul food joint, that is an example of an MC just the way he had you picture what he was talking about. Prove me wrong.

of course im gonna get these outraged "i can't let my favorite mc go" type of daddy's kids, but truth is truth, Fab is just slick af and Big L forced a couple punchlines at times, had he lived he'd be ridiculed like Papoose is today with the forced lines. I'll give him that on having his life cut short, but sometimes you follow patterns and realize they are who we thought they were years later like a canibus or a pap. They been doing the same sh*t for years without evolving.

Cam, Mase, Jimmy and the rest of the Harlemites were still playing Ball trying to get into college


L went back and helped put his nikkas on, gave them a blueprint to follow. Jay Z too, he didn't have a record deal when L took him on Stretch and Bobbito and they spit that classic freestyle together
