My shyt got daps for a reason I'm not saying nothing outta line or crazy if you from NY and/or actually listen to Fabolous you'd know...

Fabolous having one of the best runs of the 2010's is a fact. Hits from Throw it in the Bag to She Wildin'. Critically acclaimed mixtape series, how many nikkas have projects as good as any of those S.O.U.L. tapes in this era. Friday Night Freestyles shows Fabolous technically speaking is as
good as they come.

Summertime Shooutouts, Young OG, and Loso's Way were dope too.

Fabolous has the best case for KoNY. The people who listened to Clue tapes in the 90's fukk with him, teens/young nikkas fukk with him, the bytches always fukked with him. He gets steady play on radio, parties, clubs and whips in NY. He carries the torch for NY culturally and has appeal/respect universally in NY. The man had the streets on fire off a freestyle tape. In 2015, I heard "Been Around The World" instrumental playing like it was 1997 because of Fabolous.

nikkas love/loved fab, but he never created the atmosphere for nikkas to "stan"him like they did when 50/jay/nas/cam were gunning out here..He just never "stood out"

Summertime Shootouts still in rotation in the city, Young OG Project was ehh but there was songs on there that got play for a long time.

A lot of his albums do suffer from dated production and 2000's commercial rap formula. However, everything from Loso's Way to now has been straight.

Not all Fabolous shyt is social media bars he's got great punchlines, jewels, real clever shyt, storytelling joints. We'll see if Jada wash him, Fabolous music easily been better than Jada's in the last 5-6 years.

He's released two projects other than SOUL Tapes and Friday Night Freestyles which were Young OG and Summertime Shootout. Both were good not great. Fabolous is putting out the best music of his career right now, is the King of NY right now and is having one of the best runs for artists in the 2010's right now. How he fell off?

Lately Fab is really hit or miss IMO Young OG and Summertime Shootout had a couple joints but there were quite few misses on those tapes too. Summertime Shootout was a letdown for me.

King of NY? Man Fab missed his window a looong time ago. He's way too humble, which I think is/was his downfall. Jay-Z didn't get to where he is being humble..and I don't even like Jay-Z.

lol I live in queens you dumbass. what kind of world do you live in? NY is literally ran by future, young thug, & drake. Fab is not the king of anything. NY is irrelevant and has been for a while. You'd have to be blind to not see that. His mix tapes/albums get easily overshadowed.
