Twitter is da GOAT social network for keeping up with news as it breaks & seeing what's trending
I thought the original myspace was the best as far as interacting, meeting people, etc. Facebook/instagram puts a lot of limits on meeting new people (they basically dont want you to do it

Nah, no it isn't. Facebook has been around and is still #1 for a reason.

Instagram has stolen all the coolness Facebook once had.
Instagram made people realize Facebook is too bloated just like they did to myspace
Instagram is owned by Facebook and it's just a glorified pictures app.
A truly new social network is brewing in the background. Everything is just gimmicks right now.
I know Facebook smartly bought up Instagram stock but thats irrelevant to this discussion.
Kids will never sign up to Facebook because too many of their older family members are own it.
Instagram is good as longs as mom, dads, aunts and uncles think Facebook satisfies all of their social media needs
Nah, Instagram is not good at making new connections. People are just liking pictures back and forth.
The space needs something new, something radically different.

OK, I can tell you use Twitter.
That's not my argument, for keeping up news and trends? Sure, but it absolutely sucks at anything else IMO. Even sharing pictures on twitter sucks.
You can't build connections on twitter which in the end trumps everything else and the reason Facebook is still the king to dethrone.
