What's the point in deactivating the shyt though? What's the pros and cons to doing that?

I get on there to use the chat mostly. Just to catch up with friends that I wouldn't normally text or my fam who I haven't talked to in a while.

Google your name (and state if it's a common name).

I found pics of every house I ever lived in, all my siblings names and addresses, all my phone numbers, facebook pics, pics of my kids, etc...

I try to keep a low pro and FB wasn't helping at all. They sell your info. Zuck is a known jerk and privacy invader. Even when you deactivate, Zuck still keeps your info.

Maybe in a few years my e-trail will die. But as an online business owner, I have an online presence that I need to protect.

Not going anywhere, probably for the next 3-5 years

but at some point, like 2022, we'll look back and be like "remember facebook?" :laff:

Is Facebook boring now, yes it is, but it is not a fad, that stage has been passed

I have a common ass name so I really don't have to worry about that.

:lolbron:

Now if I had some ghetto name then yeah... I understand.

I won't say it was a 100% fad because it's been around so long. I think it's part of the Social Network Fad. I think sooner or later we'll be doing something else besides social networks.

Like World Wide EMP so everyone has to actually go outside.

I use Facebook like a multi-forum. I check out all the political/science pages that interest me to stay up to date on whats going on, sometimes i comment, sh!ts cool for that. Making updates about every thing you're doing and complaining about how much your life sucks and posting every pic you ever take and all the other sh!t is too much though, i cant partake in the personal aspect of facebook. People wanting to tell other people their business never really made sense to me, some people live for it though
