Facebook bought Oculus years ago for a reason. This is where things are headed. They recently partnered with Rayban and released smart glasses.
The metaverse is coming and with the acceleration of NFTs and technology being capable of AR/VR the lines between reality and digital worlds are about to become blurred.
Zuckerberg believes in this is what's next. The signs have been there for years.

my motherboard died right after the pandemic started and right before the chip shortage.
i built a new gaming PC for myself and then one for wifey in the living room.
she has my old gtx 970 and i have a 1070. both are going for at least double MSRP and they are 3-5 years old.

Go on give me that extra tall flat top, I’ve always thought IG and Snap were more geared towards kids.
Snaps whole interface seems half baked and awful to me. I still occasionally go over there when I want to get my feel of young thots twerking, dancing, and posting pics of their club outfits and shyt.
