meh ill just wait when im on my desktop or laptop to check msgs
I need it on the go or at least I was pretty dependent on it. I just don't want facebook all up in my business like that. They already know too much.

I still don't see the point of a separate app just to msg. The messenger on the actual FB app works just fine for me.
Still?! I get notifications but I have to download the app to respond or get on my laptop. I can use the mobile site but I don't really like it...which is why I use the app in the first place. Maybe IP calls will play a bigger role in my life and I'll have a reason to download it.
just sign into Facebook through your phone's web browser. You will be able to check your messages without having to install messenger.

Doesn't the facebook app have the same permissions as messenger?
I looked at it and yes, it is exactly the same. But can somebody tell me how to get around downloading this app because I feel sort of violated off GP. I don't need 2 facebook apps. How dare they try to expand. I'm old. I been using facebook since '06. I don't like change.

hasn't been an issue people just like to bytch and act paranoid when you click the messenger in your regular facebook app the bubble of your friend pops up so it feels like its part of the facebook app

I deleted Facebook off my phone all together, but I don't really mess with it like that. I'd get the app if I used Facebook to communicate with people though.

That kinda sucked but I looked on my Google+ account (who REALLY uses that shyt?) and it had all these photos I never uploaded, automatically put to a "not shared" folder on that bish from when I used to keep the sync feature of my phone ON...
Man the only way you not going to have them people up in ya business is if you throw all internet running technology in the bushes
