It's one thing to be handicap since you can remember, they learn ways to communicate early on just like we learn to talk and listen,

I couldn't imagin going blind at 45

We would all be screwed, imagine having to relearn ways to communicate like baby's:rudy:

In a lot of instances over there, they lost their sight/hearing as adults or teenagers.

Matter fact, they had a blind IT guy there, and he was blind since 17. Anything is possible.

It's one thing to go blind, but these guys were deaf and learn to use their eyes to see and hear, now they don't even have that, your underestimating how much work it would be to actually learn to only use touch to communicate after already having a crippling handicap.

shyt would be like loosing your legs at 45 after being born with no arms. Living your whole life using one sense to substitute for another, then losing that sense too.

Yeah it would be possible to live life but how long do you think it would take to only use hands, after learning to only use eyes your whole life?

5 years? 10 years? What would be the point?

None of us when through what they did so who are we to judge?
