North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
And each state competes with other states to attract companies which equates to jobs.

In doing so they either offer billions in tax breaks and some states don't have taxes at all. How do states recoup the lost or lack of revenue?

EVERY major corporation for the most part incorporates in Delaware but doesn't do business there.

Or maybe I'm tight because I'm getting a federal refund of close to 3k but owe $2500 in state taxes :snoop:

And that's after a shyt load of itemized deductions and credits. :snoop:

It's the states that tax the most. Municipal taxes, City taxes... Motor Vehicle and courts tax people via bullshyt tickets. Tolls. I can go on and on. But all of these politicians speak on is Federal taxes even though the military takes a large share of them.

Fact- i live in Texas where we have no income tax
dont worry they get it back in the form of higher property taxes, sales taxes and fees

its 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other

another fun fact
auto insurance is insane here
as is home owners insurance [though housing is cheaper]

no matter where you like we all have to keep kicking up a tribute to the 1%
