4-ize...easily

Luda was a fukkin beast in his prime and this nikka came through and wrecked him twice...his style was so unorthodox but when I tried to listen to his own music I just couldn't really...maybe I didn't give him enough of a chance, but hearing him for the first time I was like :krs:

"I keep it realer than alien autopsy photos..." :ohlawd:

I wouldnt really say this was Saigon's fault. Just Blaze spoke on this, Atlantic signed him just because they heard Just Blaze was involved with him. Did no research on his music whatsoever, then when he comes out on some positive shyt they hit him with the :whoa: :wtf:
Yeah they pretty much signed him to get a piece of JB's publishing...
Brehs I thought Saigon had next. I really did:wow:
I still check out his projects though:ld:

Saigon is the one casualty of major label bullshyt and what I suspect a degree of black balling that comes to mind.

Amazing that Saigon didn't blow considering how big Entourage was back then and he was in like 4-5 episodes WITH speaking roles and story lines centered around him. cant understand why he/his team didnt have shyt READY to coincide with that show. You had people wanting to be Vincent Chase even tho he's a made up character and people wouldnt checked for Saigon on the strength of the Vincent Chase "affiliation" alone.

Just Blaze shouldve sacrificed 2-3 of his hottest beats and had Saigon release some heat for free, build that buzz and then drop the album that Tuesday after the end of the Entourage season that year.

dont know what label BS he dealt with or blackballing but he couldve some straight up dumbed down party records for the radio, some street shyt and had a scaled down 50 Cent type buzz going

Them 2 flows from 4-Ize were :blessed:

But I even thought Lil Fate was gon come through and crush some buildings after he wrecked Luda on his own single. Wasnt super lyrical but he executed the concept of the song perfectly on that Growing Pains

Okay, I remember the days
High rights, low lefts, even stevens and fades
Troops, Lottos, and BK's, those was the days
Hi-tec boots spray painted witcha names
T-shirts airbrushed that read the same
Thick herringbone chain, one gold with yo' initial
Harris Photos, group shots, can you remember?
Barry him told his bytch go to the prom and die
Didn't lie shot his-self in the head with the 4-5
When she disobeyed, had North Clayton crazed
Just to reiterate dog those was the days
Fo' the invasions of haters, man crews from all around
Used to get down at True Flavas, bumpin Key Lo
Rockin Damage, Cross Colour and Paco
While playboys stepped in talent shows
Prom night, tux and Kangol was so cool
fukk them new model cars we ridin' old school (old school)
:ohlawd:

In 3 months we stayed in Jamestown
Hamwood and Diplomats
Played with Transformers, G.I. Joe's and Thundercats
We was lovin' that

Before they started jackin jacks
For notes from Red Oaks had folks scared to come through
College Park after dark, Crown Victorias police unmarked cars
Be aware, Wayne Williams was out there, but we ain't care
Kids was gettin stabbed and ditched out there too busy playin
Double dare ya touch shorty on the ass, that's a bet
Want your Kool-Aid and sugar, smack your hands and say "sweat"
It's mine now place it in my Louis Vuitton pouch
Thump a nikka on his knuckles make him say ouch
Slouch socks, box Chevy Caprice
Hot Niss, cut da whole Disturbin' Tha Peace
Wit no conscience, broke nikkas call 'em non cents
No comments, it's Lil' Fate payin homage to College Park

How could Quan get locked up after getting a buzz of this song:mindblown: And I hate to admit but his album verse left off the video>>>
Dude could've been a gansta version on Drake:heh:

Literally the dude I was gonna post when I saw the thread title.

And that chick's music is basic and ratchet as fukk....I wasn't impressed by her on bad but from the whole acoustic guitar thing, I thought shed be on some janelle monae meets corinne bailey rae tip

:heh: she's nowhere near talented as either of those chicks. You really though she'd be a fusion of them?

Not a fusion, but some folk/eclectic/indie r&b shyt...but like I said, I never really checked her out or knew her background, just saw a few blogs plug her and her guitar - I definitely didn't think she'd be Tierra Marie/Brooke valentine ratchet

Flodge free zone
Now Nas Stan's are saying Quan had potential? I like that song too but let's be for real. His voice wasn't great and his bars were pedestrian.

That freeway beat just went perfect with his hook. It was a tear jerker.
