The Dave is a Hollywood plant angle makes no damn sense once you look at his background, his actual content, and who he chooses to associate with. So you telling me Hollywood forced an Eddie Murphy cosign and movie appearance so he could later write and star in a stoner movie, parlay that into an HBO special where he spent most of the time talking about gentrification and the police framing black people for crimes and police brutality, only to get an insanely popular comedy central sketch comedy show and just walk the fukk away from it?

Faizon is using the wrong term, neither Dave nor Kevin are plants. What they are, are the chosen black comedians who WHITE people find funny.

Dave used that dry, white, humor. That humor that makes you instead of . Not that direct, raw, black comedy.

Kevin heart FUNNY AS shyt! I been watching his shyt for like 10-12 years. He got that RAW black comedy, that is still sort of safe. He bullied his self to where he is through hard work.

Once again it comes down to what the dominant society wants. Yeah Faizon and other comedians like Monique are salty. But it's just like every other black person in this country. They're in the field looking at the negroe in the house sweeping and drinking lemonade.

Kevin is not a plant. But yeah, Hollywood pick and choose who they want.
