Hollywood been pumping out nostalgic sequels for a minute. I mean we just gotten a Naked Gun, Freaky Friday, and a Happy Gilmore sequel in 2025. So I’m not surprised that we’re finally getting a new Friday movie. At best just have the last shot of the movie be Craig and Smokey. Smoking one last blunt on the porch from the first movie.

Pops dead, Craig goes to the funeral.
Reconnects with Mah, Sis, Stanley, Mr Parker, whoever else the fukk still in the neighborhood.
Sleep over in his old room.
Burns a joint on the porch and recollects some old pops quotes.
Smokey shows up.
They kick it.
They recollect fondly on all the folk that done died in the neighbourhood.
Red shows up on the beach cruiser wearing hella chains in honor of Deebo who gave him them shyts as repentance.
They fall into the obvious Friday predicament in which they need money before the night ends or they lose the house.
Day Day pops up and him and Smokey beef until they both decide Craig is a bad influence on both their lives and they recall the shyt he got them into.
Craig macks on a love interest.
Craig loses yet another fight to somebody.
His mother told him his pops used to box "Get knocked down like your father used to" and he ain't got no hands unlike his father.
Uncle Willie shows up and turns into Mr Nasty time and gets chased around by Mr Parker.
Stanley chasing people off his grass via Ring camera.
Felicia saves the day 'cause she got cleaned up and went to college or some shyt and pays off the loan 'cause Debo helped her get clean/hygenic
Craig does some hood credits ending narration.
John Witherspoon actual son comes out and mimics his pops voice scares smokey/craig/dayday on the porch before they see him.
End it with the isley bros "Trying to find another way song." as a drone shot flies around the neighbourhood.

Actually you can. Older people in the hood are funnier than the younger ones, now if they're still acting like they're stuck in 95 then the movie will be trash.

Cube be still trying to act too cool for school out here and you’re asking a much older Chris Tucker who hasn’t been nowhere near what he was then for mad years now to carry a Friday movie in 2025. You might as well just put Craig and Dayday back together. Even though their shot was done when they put out that weak ass Janky Promoters movie. The people who would actually have to do the heavy lifting just aren’t funny enough. I’m expecting a Friday remake in 2025 to be Coming 2 America status
i would think pops would've been retired by now and barring some tragedy (other than his death) id think the finances were prolly in order. they've been in that house forever now. losing the house in NF made sense because uncle elroy was kinda dumb with his money, but pops knew better. im sure dana has been gone for years too. stanley probably fled the neighborhood to atlanta years ago. mr parker left mrs parker in the first movie didnt he? and is mrs parker still fine enough to attract elroy 30 years later? uncle elroy remarried after sugar, what happened to her? and deebo used to beat up felicia, why would he help her get clean and go to college

it doesnt make sense for smokey to return because by FAN smokey was written out of the franchise entirely. he wasnt even mentioned.
its fun to speculate but you might as well have had craig become a dog catcher with that ending
