On The Blacker The Berry, white people subconsciously ignore the fact that Kendrick dissed them to focus on the very last line on the song :scust:

Kendrick is THE definition of “fake woke”. Crying about fukking white bytches on tour, he’s who y’all accuse Umar of being.

I’ll never forget when he did this interview.

Kendrick Lamar Talks Ferguson: ‘What Happened Should’ve Never Happened’

:pacspit:One of the main reasons TPAB ain’t ranked high for me. So when The Blacker The Berry came out, I was like :what:.

I can feel Chuck, KRS, Dead Prez, etc. when they talk that shyt. Kendrick was just riding the wave at the time, like Beyoncé and Jay-Z did, they really didn’t give a shyt. It’s kinda like how all the popular black entertainers of the 40s and 50s were trying to look white as possible, then Sam Cooke and Otis Redding started rocking the fro, then black society in general started to get more conscious, so these same celebrities did for a short time period (all while fukking white people at the same time) then went back to normal.

He should’ve just stuck with his Section.80/GKMC format, cause I’ve never bought his pro-black schtick, even to this day I cringe, to say the least.

Kendrick isn’t fake woke he’s a Gemini that’s the only sign I believe when it comes to horoscopes they are truly two people at once.

:russ: No one can really tell you what fake deep means. And majority of hiphop acts including conscious rappers have a large white fanbase.

This is what I'm talking about. When did Kendrick ever portray himself as militant?

WELL HE BROUGHT A WHITE GIRL
ON STAGE TO RAP HIS LYRICS
THEN PULLED A FAKE OUTRAGE STUNT
WHEN SHE SAID nikka IN THE SONG...

YET THERE WAS FOOTAGE FROM YRS
BEFORE OF HIM DOING THE SAME THING
WITH ANOTHER WHITE GIRL
AND HE HAD NO PROBLEM
WITH HER SAYING nikka.

IF THAT AINT A FAKE MILITANT
IDK WHAT IS.

nikka PULLING WHOLE
PR STUNTS WITH IT

This is what I'm talking about. When did Kendrick ever portray himself as militant?

“ Visions of Martin Luther staring at me
Malcolm X put a hex on my future, someone catch me
I'm falling victim to a revolutionary song”

Kendrick called himself a prophet. Kendrick himself compared hisself to Nelson Mandela. Kendrick said he wanted to be more like Mandela.

As I leads this army make room for mistakes and depression.”

Alright was him leading the charge!

People was comparing him to Pac because of he was “militant” there were even articles written about it especially after the Grammys performance of him in shackles

Knew it, didn't take long. We're going into the "But what is a militant anyway" conversation :deadrose:

oh-boy-here-we-go-again.gif

Yep

Have you ever considered that may be who he actually is?

Yeah he’s not like that anymore because he chose himself he’s sorry and he’s not your savior

He’s not militant though. That’s a title YALL put on him. He even said “like it when they pro black, but I’m more Kodak Black”

The video when he let her say nikka, was that before or after the one when he asked her not to say it? I’ve never seen it so I don’t know. Either way, even if there was only one video that existed where he told her she can’t say nikka, it doesn’t make him militant.

He also said the following:

I'm not the next pop star, I'm not the next socially-aware rapper
I am a human motherfukkin' being over dope-ass instrumentation
