He said something that gave me the impression he was a fraud in an interview a long time ago. But maybe hes grown or got a wakeup call like many in his generation did. Or maybe he realized that was the best way to make it. "Fake militance" isnt as easy to prove as being a fake tough guy though. Child actor turned Scarface aint adding up:sas1:

He’s not militant though. That’s a title YALL put on him. He even said ā€œlike it when they pro black, but I’m more Kodak Blackā€

The video when he let her say nikka, was that before or after the one when he asked her not to say it? I’ve never seen it so I don’t know. Either way, even if there was only one video that existed where he told her she can’t say nikka, it doesn’t make him militant.

He also said the following:

DUDE HE LET A WHITE GIRL SAY nikka
THEN A FEW YEARS LATER
HE PERFORMED THIS BIG FAKE OUTRAGE
TOWARDS A WHITE GIRL SAYING nikka
WHILE PERFORMING THE VERY
SAME SONG HE HAD THE OTHER WHITE GIRL DO.

HES FAKE AS fukk
AND IT WAS ALL PERFORMANCE MILITANCY
FOR THE INTERNET

The best way to put it is think of a restaurant you went to before it blew it up or expanded. The food is likely gonna be better than once it’s a chain. Well w/ hip hip before the money, dudes were genuinely educated and diverse. 5 percenters, Islam, the Bible, etc

Now that hip hop has blown up, those OG rappers are ā€˜guides’ for people to follow, so the new model doesn’t actually have to be well read or ā€˜deep’ they are just doing a good job of impersonating the intellectuals they grew up watching

Like GZA actually knows quantum physics. Mos def moved to Africa. Plenty of NY rappers were actual 5 percenters. You don’t have that level of investment anymore. So people like J Cole may sound deep to a youngin but to a OG it’s like ok he’s not saying shyt he’s just good at rapping

I will say kendrick is the best of this newer generation he’s gets closer to that feeling. Jay electronica is a good example of actual knowledge. But age wise he’s old guard so I won’t count him as new

A militant wouldn’t have invited a white girl on stage to rap that song with him in the first place :yeshrug:

He was polite to her too. Didn’t seem outraged to me. He was like ā€œthere’s one word you gotta bleep out.ā€

Low key, I can bring up examples of a lot of the greats who have spit some militant type raps, but then said/did something that contradicted it. I guess they’re all fake too?

I just mentioned this in another thread. Humans are contradictory in nature.

ā€œFake deepā€ gotta be the corniest label thrown out on this board. Who and what is real deep? Only time it truly applies was Jay Z and Rick Ross kicking finance 101 bars and nikkas calling them ā€œpro blackā€ for that shyt :dead:
