Fake Followers on Twitter

I've always looked at some people and the number of followers they have and how that shyt happen...

But now they have fakers.statuspeople.com

I realized I was right, and alot of these "twitter famous" people have paid to make it look like they are alot more popular than they are. I see this with local rap artists more than anything.

Here are just 3 examples of people I've seen come across my timeline

@jkillahceo- Rapper, producer, etc. Dude was ranting all last week about fake rappers and shyt. so I put him in and this is what i found.

A celebrity jump off, Used to strip. Fake important.

And last, a Coli fav... @officialhotrod

Now, it actually shows that 85% are Inactive rather than fake. Maybe they dead

Its funny cause when you mention it to them, They'll either ignore you or block you..

Its pretty amusing to me. I'm sure ya'll know a few people out there on twitter like that. Might as well expose they ass

And thats my point that it isn't that serious for people to be paying $$ to "have followers" on a website to make themselves seem important.

Not just rappers.. everyone. The president, celebrities, etc. Even if they are legit followers like 90% of accounts are inactive anyway...

Perception is everything, and most people aren't going to delve into the legitimacy of a person's "followers" count. It's a fundamental marketing technique, no different than putting up fake reviews of a product/establishment on yelp.
