That being said, I don't think the suspension should be overturned. His actions were dangerous and he needs to be accountable for them regardless. Now if he was being targeted w/ threats and such based on his orientation then that also should be handled seperately, but one doesn't justify or nullify the other. In an ideal world the refs would also be reprimanded for the terrible job they did and the role it played in the situation escalating to what it did, but we know that's not gonna happen.

Yeah the only reason I was asking was because in order for your comparison of a black player being called a racial slur to actually be relevant, Odell would actually have to be a gay person.
