I'd take him. Not that we'd win more or anything, but having a hometown player who's a good QB to boot would be dope because he's black.

No, it's because he's more dynamic than Matt Ryan.

People also forget that Matt Ryan early on in the season has already lost THREE of his starting offensive linemen for the year (center Hawley, right tackle Holmes, and left tackle Baker), has an undrafted rookie starting at center (James Stone -- who?) because our backup center (Konz) also went down for the year, and his left tackle in Jake Matthews has been nursing a high ankle injury (FYI most athletes will agree that it's one of the most difficult injuries to play with) since week 1. And there was a brief stretch where our left guard was on the injured list. I'm surprised Matt Ryan is still in one piece at this rate considering that a) his offensive linemen can't stay healthy long enough for them to protect his booty and b) our strength and conditioning coach probably tells our team not to drink milk anymore.

:damn:
I agree. There are things that fall on his shoulders, I would throw the Lions game in there, but there are bigger issues than him.

We had our malnourished TE play right tackle for a quarter man :mjcry:

I believe matt ryan is good enough to get us too and win a superbowl he has to be top 3 in 4th qtt drives since 08. I dont expect any non falcon fan to understand how shytty our coaching staff is. We litteraly have the same issues from when we were winning 14 games a year and it all falls on our soft ass coach.

Matt isn't a bad qb but the falcons have issues beyond qb. The blind hatred for cam is ridiculous tbh I mean dude is his team's leading rusher for goodness sake if that tells you how pathetic the Panthers are now.

Edit: he's 3 yards behind Stewart my bad but that's still pathetic

I swear, these threads bring out a lot of stupid people.

So it's not that they're 26th in the league in rushing or 31st in Defense, it's Matt Ryan that's the problem.

I definitely know Ryan isn't the issue, but if I had a choice of Ryan or cam, I'd take cam. Hell, I'd possibly even take him over my dude Kaepernick, at least until kaep learns to put more touch on his passes.

3 very solid seasons if u ask me. He isn't Andrew Luck but I'm not sure luck would be as productive with the offense cam runs. Also if you compare Luck and Cam objectively they are damn near interchangeable statwise. Add in the rushing yards and Cam actually has the edge in total tds and yards. I'm just talking about their 1st 3 years in the league. Cam has one more year in but just comparing their 1st 3 years Cam literally has had one of the best runs of any qb in their 1st 3 years. You can see that for yourself if you have any doubts.

Is Matt Ryan code for Mike Smith...because the Falcons biggest problem is that they have somebody who week in and week out competes for the incompetent coach of the year award...

Ryan is better than Cam right now despite a bad line. But he's as good as he's ever gonna get. Cam has so much more potential/higher ceiling ceiling :banderas:
