:snoop:

This is what happens when the mother side of your family isn't in your life. Going by Coli terminology I guess you call me "Mother-less" even tho I always had women in my life who played the mother role. But my real was never there.

Anyways apparently my Grandmother received a call from someone claiming to be me. They knew my name, her name and everything. They claimed I was arrested for drug possession. 2ks of cocaine and I needed money for bail.

Long story short they scammed her out of 3 stacks. And my mom called me demanding answers and that they were going to the police.

First of all, and I hate to say this, but if I ever were to be locked up, them two would be last people I call. I have plenty of other dependable people to call, mainly my wife and her family.

Second of all, everyone in my family that's close to me knows I dont fukk with drugs so that story should been a red flag from the start.

This whole situation is fishy to me.

:ufdup:It's going to get worse with software that can change your voice & appearance in real time. Scammers are going to able to pull off some mad shyt. People are going to have to come up with code/pass words to prove they are who they say they are...

There has to be some clues as to who scammed them. Who knows your family history like that? shyt, it might've been someone you're related to to be really real.
scammers do that shyt. they don't gotta know shyt about you.

all they really gotta do is find your names, shyt can be found from simple shyt like whitepages websites, to background checks, to online obituaries. most things are online now.

aint no more privacy in this world.

It's yall family fault for not having that talk about scamming with the older folks in your family. If they aren't able to remember not to give money out then they shouldnt have easy access to their money/bank accounts.

Hold the L.

I mean, the upside is they forked up the money even though you weren't in their lives. Treat as an opportunity to connect.

Truthfully I want to meet a scammer.

I haven't had my phone called in years but now I'd be like "I don't have a bank account, but I can do a cash settlement. Is there an office I can go to or can someone come to me $1500 is a great price to settle all my credit card debt, I wouldn't want to miss out. I have the cash, I Just need a way to give it to you before the offer closes :troll:"

Meanwhile I'm bringing 2 guns.
