you said your choices were "set in stone"
And it pretty much is. When doing a quest what other option do you have besides yes, yes, yes, or yes? Other than in the very beginning where that old brawd was being robbed. To choose to side with the old lady, the bandits, or settle in between. That part of the game was how majority of the old fallout games felt. How many opportunities did you have like that in fallout 4? I think my point still stands

that mission for Bobbi No-Nose and the Cabot House come to mind. I'm not sure how many are in the game since I haven't seen everything. 180 hours and I never even met Cait or Curie

I just looked it up, and she's in Vault 81. I've been there on both my playthroughs, but I guess I never did the missions to unlock her as a companion

I think she's in the lab with the doctor's. Her companion quest is cool too.

Haven't played the game since before Christmas. Not as a serious a gamer at this point in my life, but man this game doesn't make things interesting for you imo. I'm gonna go back to it since I didn't finish it, but I'm gonna need alot more time on my hand to do so.

I'm the same way (and also stopped playing around Christmas). Once I got to a certain "big" point in the story I just stopped playing. The game was already starting to get repetitive and the plot twist seemed somewhat predictable and stupid. All the major AAA games over the past decade seem to have the same story direction.

Now that the hype has died down

Can we finally admit this game was a huge disappointment

And nowhere close to the perfection of New Vegas

:mjcry:

I wouldn't say a huge disappointment, but definitely not what I wanted. It's improved in some areas, but too much of it feels old and dated. I finished my first playthrough and am now playing again with some mods....so I'm still playing. I also don't have the DLC yet either, so at some point, I'll grab that to get a little more life out of it, but overall, yeah, not what I had hoped for.

In other FO news though, has anyone seen this upcoming mod for FO-NV (made by the 'Tale of Two Wastelands' guy)?

I thought it was good. Full disclosure, I never played f3 or new Vegas before playing 4. Im sure that had a lot to do with it. Finished 3 and now I'm doing the Dlc for it.

Is New Vegas the best out the 3?

People said new vegas was a disappointment when it first came out.

For me fallout 4 is the best from a technical/gameplay perspective.

New vegas had the best story.

Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of all time, but still the worst in the series in my opinion.

FO3 was my first FO game.....I really liked it and liked NV a lot too. If I had to pick, I'd probably say NV is my favorite, but FO3 was awesome too (especially that 1st playthrough...:banderas:)
