when it comes to fallout these dudes don't seem to care about gameplay
if it plays like the original doom in 2021 they probably wouldn't mind if the story was good
fallout 3 and 4's gameplay makes me want to go exercise

While I don't think FO4 is better than NV, it did make up its short comings by being a much more playable game overall. It's not as deep as the older games but it's definitely funner to play.
It's kinda like how everyone swears skyrim is trash compared morrowind, and morrowind was borderline unplayable once you got over the vastness of the world.
Some people judge these games based off conversational options during cutscenes. I feel like gameplay should always come first.
I don't know why but NV FO3 weapons had more of an impact and felt unique vs the guns in fallout 4. The anti material rifle don't even feel the same.

Breh, you can KEEP shooting monsters and NPCs in FO4 and they have absolutely no reaction to it except for their health bar. Also, in NV and FO3 you could shoot the limbs and heads off motherfukkas, but even that's been removed from FO4 to keep it family friendly.
This isnt true you can still decapitate and dismember enemies with guns or melee weapons and that’s not even counting the bloody mess perk
FO4 wasn’t perfect but it was my favorite and most played game of the gen for sure. It has its flaws but it’s an 8/10 game at worst and 10/10 with mods so

I didn't enjoy it as much as 3 and NV... I no lifed 3 and NV for a week during release week 
4 it took me a month an a half to finish 4. Just didn't capture me.. then again I thought Boston was a boring setting
The story was decent.

I like how how it did power armor.. but rarely used it.
That and I think they blew their wad for lack of better term by giving us power armor and fighting a deathclaw at the very start of the game. That's suppose to be mid-endgame shyt
