They really nailed this, I lost countless hours to these games. Tons of fan service in ep1 but felt organic and not just doing it just cos.

Excellent adaptation. The script, acting, directing. Every Fallout fan will love it. The fan service was crazy. They kind of overdid the long drawn out stares throughout eps 8, but the end had me cheesing hard.
