Can’t lie I fukks with Dollar tree
Family Dollar not as much but there was never a preference. Dollar tree was just smaller and i liked that for what I needed.
I have a few close by every place. I go there to get shyt like water bottles, snacks, rehydration shyt (cheaper), sometimes t-shirts just to go to gym in, etc.

First of all, Dollar Tree is wrong for calling itself a dollar store when most items are more than a dollar.
Secondly, I thought these dollar store brands were doing well now, given the recent article stating that dollar store profits were exceeding Whole Foods.
Thirdly, I wonder how many stores they had to close 390 stores in a single year (sounds like that in the article).
Finally, an activist investor sounds funny to me.

There's a Dollar Tree in the same plaza as my barber shop. I go in there when I need to get cash to pay my barber. It's always on swole in there. I get my knockoff Golden Oreos, bath towels and gym shirts in there too lol
Dollar tree is the place for household items
Paper towels, aluminum foil, oven mitts, bleach, detergent
Hell i went into Walgreens and immediately walked out… body wash $10 now, deodorant $6 for a 3oz

I remember some years ago, this woman asked me to take her to the dollar store. We get in the car and we're headed to Dollar Tree. On the way there, she's like "What are you doing....you just passed it."
"Passed what?"
"The dollar store"
I looked back and saw there was a Dollar General about a block behind.....and she acted as if I was a putz or something.
