Can the c00n label even apply to black brits? Aren't most black brits the product of african/carribean immigrants that willingly migrated to the UK? I am truly ignorant of the black british experience. In my mind i've always viewed them as migrating there and having better self esteem due to having real ties to culture, ethnicity, and ancestry(unlike us). Can some UK brehs drop some knowledge, obviously the UK had slaves too.
They moved there for better jobs which did not happen once moving for the most part.

many have/are moving back

however uk folks there interracial date more.

USA is more land spread out. And racially segregated. Prior to this generation interracial dating was not as accepted in ALL races like it is with younger generations. Due to more diverse populations, social media, etc

In Uk, even with racism, the distances in UK are smaller. And communities are closer together. Blacks there have a better change of interacting with whites and etc. so dating is easier/ not look down as much.

my thoughts

She's dating a whole ass black man, and then proceeds to insult an another's black man's skin and features.

He even brought her home to meet his family.

A lot of people were defending her saying she can't be racist since she's dating a black dude, as if she wasn't with that nikka solely for cause he's a famous youtuber.

Y'all going to learn one way or another

:mjpls:

If you look closely, you can see she's lowkey ashamed to take that picture. There's a reason why his mom leans in, while his girlfriend maintains a distance.

I’ve been thinking about starting a thread about something similar to this. For my job I recently interviewed a black women who lives in Ireland. She’s two generations in. So her parents migrated to Ireland. She went to college in Scotland. Part of the reason I interviewed her was for black history month profiles that we are doing next week. But she had a lot of interesting things to share about her experience living there. She said there are distinct difference between those immigrating there for the first time, versus those like her, versus African Americans.
