Kossisko on His Radical Evolution | East Bay Express

Over the past few years, however, Kossisko began thinking critically about gender and questioning the ways in which society's definitions of masculinity had restricted his personal self-expression. "I've always been super androgynous β€” that's just me," he said in an interview. "But when you're maneuvering in the world of rap β€” I don't like all the lines and shyt that prevent people from being who they are."

As he grew older and more experienced (when he started putting out music as 100s, he was nineteen years old), he realized the casual sexism in his lyrics promoted damaging ideas. "Eventually, it started to fukk with my conscience," he said. "At times, I would see women's reactions and they would be appalled, and that wasn't a good feeling."

@Phonzi are you happy now nikka:mjcry:

Lol all this tranny talk. I don't think he meant he's a tranny or any of that, maybe he's bi but I think really he just doesn't like the mysogony and all that stuff from his raps. He felt he had to affect that persona to be a rapper and it worked for a while but I guess he couldn't keep up the facade. He could def play a Drake type role IMO but be more like K-Os with a more eclectic sound but still based in Hip Hop and rapping.
