Fans of a college team: Do you care if players from your team make it to the pros?

From my observations, it's mostly like this:

Black fan of a college team: "Hell yeah i care! Get that paper, brotha. These schools use these players. These players make these schools millions of dollars yet they dont get a cut"

White fan of a college team: "I dont care if players on this team make it to the pros or not. I just want conference championships and hopefully a high level bowl game. I dont watch the nba/nfl anyway. Too many thugs with money. These players should be happy they get a free education and a degree."

I would love to see all of our basketball players make it to the NBA. It would be a good sense of pride for our university; plus those students could make their money and live their dreams. It also would help with recruiting.

I only critique the players that leave early who clearly have no business for leaving and even then, I can't fault them. Shelf life as a pro athlete is short. Go get that money!!!!
