An effective method? Effective at making Tariq Nasheed money and fame, yeah. The success of HC isn't its academic merits, it's because it's a stylized, well put together (in terms of presentation) product that connects with a niche demographic. Academic documentaries already exist and have for years. They're at your library. They're not even moving units for free.
He does a brilliant job of telling his audience what they want to hear. I have todude's hustle, though not his character.
Exactly how I've felt about these guys. I've heard very limited stuff from them but not a lot was fact based.
