Bret has nothing on heel HBK.

I'm a Bret fan but when you think about it, Bret is the Brooklyn Brawler of stars. If you can't have a great program with Bret you're not going to be a star. That's how they test you, they put you in a program with Bret.
Outside of One Night in Montreal that's not true. Heel HBK wasn't great on the mic, his shenanigans aer what make OG DX memorable

Bret Hart and Stank are one in the same. Boring, generic wrestlers who carried the company when there was no one else around to do so.

Worst Article of all time.

Wtf is DailyDDT :camby:
Word

Wtf is this:

he’s one of the best in-ring technicians we’ve ever seen, there’s a lot more to the world of professional wrestling than that. Those kinds of technicians are great…as jobbers.

Total trash.

Californ-i-a by way of BK
Hell Nahhhhhhhhhh

HBK made bret foolish on the mic

Bret was basically a face at this point, and DX were heels. I'm talking during the major Hart Foundation heel run (April til about a little after SummerJam). His promos on America were complete Ether. He clowned Shawn often too.

fukk that author and anyone that love him

His whole premise is based on personal opinion and not an educated one, if you are gonna present a case to shyt on a legend, at least bring facts. Bret was one of the best performers I've had the pleasure of witnessing.

He had better and more entertaining matches than guys like Hogan, HHH and Cena

He had a better and more engaging character than guys like Batista, Sting and Goldberg

He had better fueds and storylines than Jericho, Kane and Edge

Its one thing to not be a fan of a guy, but to try to diminish a man's career achievements when he is not below average in ANYTHING and actually the BEST in some areas reeks of hate, ignorance and parents' basements. I bet this guy is one of the guys who go to RAW to chant CM Punk.

this article sounds and is from someone.
who only has a cup half full perspective of hart.
as he does not mention, hart being the best heel on roster, as a tag guy.
in the wwf's largest original drawing incarnation in the rock'n wrasslin era.
plus, how the hart's versus bulldogs was a dual country based domestic mainevent draw.
from house to television, in the saturday night mainevent era.
hart was the most mercilious and viscious heel on roster.
till, macho man was given the green light to be the top heel.
in the program of macho vs steamboat.
which occurred in the third mania.
after, the first two wrestlemania's.
already, with rocky III's impact and soundtrack.
were what provided the domestic boom for the wwf.

now, granted hart followed in the footstep of an oversaturated draw of hogun.
who had a megastar draw that trickled down from an oscar winning franchise like rocky.

yet, in the lineage of great wwe workers.
when, the wwe needed a worker who could offset the phoney label of the wwe.
hart was given a huge task of taking the reigns of that right after hogun.
of which, hart was not and there was not a megastar oscar winning ringsport franchise for hart to piggyback off of like hogun.

people forget about superstar billy graham.
who was better than hogun.
as hogun was a vague ripoff of graham's entire workrate as a mic worker.

so, trying to smash on hart,..who effectively is why wwe somehow remained afloat.
after having a megastar ringsport movie draw to piggyback off of.
is shortsighted and completely ignorant of the times and what really happened.
as mcmahon was no genius and just benefitted from hogun.
a worker he originally fired and originally had no idea of what type of franchise rocky ever was.
when, rocky had won an oscar, for BEST PICTURE.
plus, was a sequel heavy phenom in every possible way as a ringsport based movie.
a movie and franchise a guy like mcmahon should have easily known about.
plus, championed hogun to take the role.
instead of firing, before the movie was completed from the wwf.

the writer of this article is in effect a shortsighted non-studied mark.
that does not know fully what he is talembout.
plus, should not be given a forum to speak on things he clearly does not fully know about.

If it wasn't for bret there be no stone cold steve austin

There be no attitude era

there be no evil Vince

They prolly be no super heel HBK either

1997 raw was the goat year and I'd advise anybody to download that year and tell me bret is boring

Exactly. At the very least, he sped it up. First one who made it known that Vince wasn't just a ringside announcer, put his hands on Vince, cursed on live tv, and elevated Austin w/o ever losing to him
