It's hard for me to get a real pulse of the city because I'm in Dallas. But I was listening to 980 and Portis and of course Kevin Shenhanan who is Kirk's biggest supporter other than Cooley was saying resign him for whatever he wants. Larry Michael and Sonny's old azz was saying the same thing but it's to be expected considering Synder owns the station.

I wonder what some of the local beat writers who are NOT DIRECTLY tied to the team thinks.

So untrue bro.

Kirk doesnt get praised here

I agree. Signing him to a long term deal won't cripple the team and even though a large portion of the fanbase doesn't believe in him, the people who do(all of the local media and the HC) want him back at any costs and that will win out unfortunately.

I have an unique experience of living in Dallas throughout Romo's era and Dallas fans constantly calling him a choke artist in big moments and being just good enough to be called elite based on numbers but not good enough to take that next level. That's the exactly what cousins will be.

There are dudes in the local media in DC who defend Cousins like he is their very own son and it's disgusting because it's total bias. With that good O-LINE and offensive weapons, there are plenty of competent QB's that will give you the same production. I say give Cousins an offer sheet and let him shop around, no matter where he goes his leash will be short because NFL "long term contracts" don't really mean shyt and he can't get it done in key moments. He's not an elite QB.

I have been critical of cousins but when does the criticism of gruden start nationally and locally? Dude is a shyt game manager of timeouts and doesn't seem to know what plays to call in key moments. He called a "code red" game last year and if he would've lost, he probably would've gotten canned.
What I tell y'all about putting Romo with Cousins? Two different tiers. Romo may choke but at least he'd choke after dropping 30 on you lol. Cousins choked with his high powered offense scoring 10 damn points :hhh:

Who else do they have though? No one in the draft is better. People should be aware the NFL has a dearth of talent.

McCoy would be a decent replacement since the Redskins' offense is pretty solid. They could easily find someone better than Cousins in the draft. Keep in mind he was taken in the 4th round.

McCoy is rusty no? I mean trubitsky might be the same level, but otherwise.

Maybe they should trade for RG3 :youngsabo:

TYRONE GA!
You should know better, you think San Francisco would be better today with Alex Smith overpaid and still at the helm? This loss is a blessing because we will get a higher draft pick and we don't have to commit as much if we do pursue him. I know for a fact Colt McCoy would do similar in this offense and he has better pocket presence. TBC

And why you keep calling them the slurs bruh? White people did not invent the term Redskins :stop: they just told you to hate it the same way they tell you nikka means ignorant. No the fukk it doesn't

I know Alex is trash, and we booted him. :yeshrug:

As far as the slurs, native americans say it's a slur term. That's like cacs telling us we should be cool with them callin us nikkaz and darkies or some shyt.

Just because Snyder found some c00n native americans to cosign that shyt doesn't mean it's cool.

With Snyder being jewish, do you think he's cosign The Washington Kikes or some shyt? :mjpls:

Because it's not offensive to him, it don't matter. But let it be some anti semetic shyt and it'd be a different tune. Same with us. If they were the Washington Darkies or Ashyskins or some shyt that WE don't like but they told us to kick rocks, would you be cool with that? :mjpls:

Every time one of these regular ass QBs comes up for a contract people sing this song. Who was he better than before he was gifted the job over a first round pick that led the team to a playoff berth the last time he was healthy for a full season? I remember when people wondered what Cincy would do when Palmer "retired". They went on to have a better run the next 5 seasons than they ever had with him. Remember just this season when Tony Romo went down the Cowboys replaced him with a rookie drafted in the 4th round? The Texans made the playoffs 2 years in a row playing 19 different QBs. Not saying they are guaranteed to be better without him or to get a Dak in the 4th round. But I get tired of people throwing this plea out there for every QB that we know damn well is not worth the money. If he was really worth it, there would be nothing to think about and you wouldn't have to compare him to nothing in order to demonstrate his value.

RS should let this dude walk if he doesn't take a moderate top 15 deal. Let him chase a FA and let him live it up for two years. He won't finish that contract and will be a bum on a bum team. Permanently ruin his value for being so cocky and undervaluing how important a great supporting cast is... Carrying his choke artist dead weight.
