More baffling stories about disappearances, this time including some outside of North America. Here are just a couple of highlights:

On May 17, 1951, 9 year old Roger Shaddinger disappeared while on a family fishing trip to Adler Creek in Truckee, CA. After a 28-hour search, a S&R volunteer found the boy (alive) -- Roger said he had been hiding from "The People" who he thought were going to hurt him. While some articles at the time implied the boy was hiding from searchers, this is a theme that has been mentioned in other cases when missing persons are found. Very peculiar.

Linda Arteaga (age 53), who disappeared from a wooded area near St. Joe, AR, on September 22, 2012, while out walking with her brother, was missing for 5 days. When finally found, an article on her disappearance had this to say: "She claims that she wasn't the only one out there. I would see people. I'd ask for help and they'd act like they didn't even hear me, says Arteaga. She says she remembers them looking right at her and not saying a thing. These people were hiding in bushes. They were weird people, very weird, Arteaga says. I supposed she could have had some toxic ingestion that may have caused, a hallucinogen, in other words, but you know, she's been very consistent with that story, and today in her mental examination, she seems very oriented and appropriate in conversation, says Dr. John Sorg of North Arkansas Medical Center."

There's a couple of coast to coast am episodes about this. I remember listening to this guy a few years ago. You can probably find the episodes on youtube. It's some spooky shyt.

I heard the exact opposite. And I've listened to a few podcasts with him on it too and he doesn't even really try to sway you at all. Just present facts and let you decide for yourself.

This the same dude me and the @SlangDussainAli cat from Duval was talking about on here a while back. He changed his s/n but y'all know who I'm referring to.

Been up on the missing 411 shyt. I know I sounds crazy but I think it's Bigfoot snatching folks and eating them :yeshrug:

yeah, i've heard the author of this book interviewed on podcasts several times.
if you want to get freaked out look for some of these interviews he has done.

Or you can one up that. How about going out and actually walking thru these spots? The Smokey Mountain National Forest spot in Western Tennessee ain't that far from me. Been wanting to go check it out but I ain't worked up the courage yet. I've seen some odd shyt in the woods in Pisgah National Forest in NC along with some anecdotal shyt from being my childhood, so I'm already a believer. I really think that why these places are National forests in the first place. The govt knows some strange shyt is popping off and making it a National forest is a easy way to cordon the area off.

What podcasts are you cats listening to? I'm only subbed to Bryond the Darkness. I listen to C2C nightly.

I've heard him on a bunch of different podcasts. Just put in missing 411 on YouTube. They talk about his theory a lot on those paid podcasts joints too.

Bout to do some shyt with my pops. Can't really type all that right now, I ain't really trying to re hash anyway. Not to be rude, but I already know folks be :comeon: when I talk about that shyt in real life so I know it's the same here. That's some shyt you just gotta have a quiet confidence on and KIM. You could probably find that shyt on here tho.

Going to check it out. I dont think I will ever look at going to the national parks in my area the same again.

This world is very strange. There are more things that we do not know than we do know. Let that sink in for a moment.

the higher side chats
conspiracy theories and unpopular culture
good vibrations

and last but not least, the legend himself William Cooper's Hour of the Time:

you can get lost in William Cooper's archive.
he was podcasting in the early 90's before anyone know what podcasting was.

These people simply got lost, wanted to start a new life, or committed suicide:troll::troll::troll:
That's what the geniuses on here claimed anyway...even tho the author outlined criteria that he specifically excluded.

One reason why I'll stay away from the wilderness. :hubie:

fukk the woods :whoa:
The irony in this is that if North American civilzationi breaks down you're safer there.
You guys better learn(or improve) your fishing and hunting skills.

This thread seems more to focus on national parks, not just any woods.
