And why is that?

Because I see a shytload of people being killed off....And why is that?
Because they will just kill the population that is superfluous to the needs of capital
Unless people wake the fukk up before its too late![]()

globalization and automation will continue to create an ever increasing amount of surplus people. Plus if you're gonna do basic income.. you would have to close the borders and cut immgration to a trickle.
But let me ask you...Why do you think a basic income is coming?
A mere placation of the populace that still keeps the elites up top
Rather throw them a few bones then risk a violent revolution that throws them completely off the court

there is not gonna be a violent revolution.. there won't be. Americans bark and got their card pulled already
IF there was by some chance a revolution.. the elite already have the means to shut it the fukk down quickly.
your hope and optimism is unrealistic![]()

I'm all for automationIt's funny to you huh
You think CATO can't replace your dumb ass with a bot?

What I am saying is that the elites will implement basic income to milk the populace from revolution.

Possibly. It's either mass killing or a basic income. I'm not sure which will prevail.
Although, I think we're moving towards conditions that will enable a permanent dystopia. Environmental degradation, the surveillance state, space-to-ground weaponry, even robotized police and military. Without a different basis for society premised on democracy and egalitarianism instead of exploitation and hierarchy, these technologies will be purposed to benefit and protect those in power. That's why I tend to think the mass killing is more likely.
They don't need to implement basic income.. when they can just smash any revolution and kill the useless eaters off![]()

To much risk of collateral on their end. Especially in the US

You must be thinking they would using bombs.... they wouldn't..
You're talking a group that have full spectrum control over food, water, energy, medicine.. with access to bio/chem weapons.
The risk of collateral damage to them is well... very very small![]()
