...judging the trailer it looks like they could just kill him at the funeral scene and have that shyt get sprayed up or something. No fancy cgi,just let him die in somebody arms and show the back of his head.,,,its gon be a lot of dudes who love cars and love these movies fightin back tears
...funeral scene might be right at the beginning though and it would still be too much left to do over. Movies made billions,just kill him at the right time and film the rest over. They gon make so much money off this being PW last appearance in the series and people wanting to see how you take him out.. his death gave you a ticket sales and dvd boost,it will even out if they take the loss now. But that's another reason you don't write him out,cuz his fans wanna see his last appearance and its going to be what drives sales opening week

Have his character get detained for playing both sides, the rescue attempt failed, and you pretty much have an ok exit depending on the writing.
Nah..but it DAMN SURE WASN'T WALKER OR VIN DIESEL. Guys that were MIA for years until that movie..the promotion of the movie was heavily around Vin Diesel and Rock facing off.

People are just acting stupid in here. 2 Fast 2 Furious made only 20 million more than the first one worldwide, but its budget was pretty much double the first one. It was still profitable, but its increase in box office was nothing.
People thought the franchise was dead when Walker left as well and they did Tokyo Drift, which made little money. When the original stars (both of them) returned however, it jump boosted the franchise back to life instantly, and from that point they've been building franchise into a different beast entirely, but make no mistake, Vin and Walker are the stars that made the franchise, not just one of them, and not the inclusion of The Rock.
