Props to you breh for taking those words the right way and using them as motivation...Older black lady at my old work called me. shyt hurt my feelings so bad I got a gym membership that week. I slowly started going to the gym after work and it became a routine. Lost so much weight she told me I looked to frail after a while. Lost over 60 pound and still holding the weight off. I had high blood pressure ans cholesterol, all my number are perfect now.
If everyone was on some you look good I would have never lost the weight. Shoutout to the lady that fat shamed me, she might have added years to my life

Had a young man once walk into my gym approaching Pun flabbiness territory...His mamma begged me to take him in, it's a serious boxing gym, not a weight loss clinic so I was against it but I seen the pain and embarrassment in sons eyes...He was in a sad state, wanted to better himself but didn't know how...I said ok and I warned him, I'm not going to take it easy on you, you're going to want to quit so if you don't have the fire to push yourself past that feeling, don't waste my time...
First day he was done after attempting push ups, squats, light pad work and some shoulder presses...He sat on the floor and pulled out his phone, I shyt on him HARD, everybody in the gym stopped and was watching like damn...gave him that verbal no vaseline work...legit thought son was going to waddle out the door like a sad penguin...but nah...those words ignited him, you could see that fire in his eyes light up like the eye of Sauron and he never lost it...What he did lose is 120 pounds and competed in the NYDN GG tournament...

Yeah, so…no. The point of fat acceptance is to say that we, as human beings, are more than our bodies. My body doesn‘t define me. Its just a temporary capsule. It doesn’t determine my value, my morals, if I’m a good or bad person. It just exists. Fat acceptance is a rejection of the historic racism, misogyny, and classism that, as a result, influences how we treat fat people.
