yeah we black new yorkers gotta hold that L. fat joe has been using the word nikka since day one & i ain't gonna lie to kick it with yall man i never flinched growing up. it was normal for me to hear puerto rocks use nikka among each other as well as use it in rhymes. where all my old flabby heads at son? we remember the freestyle fanatic "walk like a duck" kurious george who looked whiter than joe and he used nikka all the time

hell get ready for this. buckshot and black moon let a white boy, big dru ha, use the word nikka on the song "u da man" off the debut blassic enta da stage. a white boy b. now that i never liked, ever. i love black moon & boot camp but couldn't fukk with that. so why was i being selective though? it's bad for big dru ha yet it was gucci for fat joe and big pun? nah man i should be ashamed of myself

collectively are we as new yorkers just off code as fukk? lame? sell outs? uncle toms? i dunno but there is no way, and i mean no way, they letting that fly in the south b. no way. project pat lets lil wyte run around saying nikka? lol pat would stomp the fukk out that white boy son. it is what it is

The South vs Up Top convo is just different when it comes to that. Atlanta (or the South except for maybe MIA) isn't a melting pot like NY. In Atlanta, shyt is straight Black/White, no ricans/no dominicans/etc. You either black or you white, straight up.

In NY, shyt has always been way more diverse and more of an melting pot between African Americans/ricans/dominicans/etc. A lot of up top ricans/dominicans would catch straight culture shock down south.

I’m sorry but Remy is wrong for defending Joe. If Ja Rule called her dusty, I’m sure she would be singing a different tune.

She should’ve just sat this one out. Everything doesn’t need a response to prove how loyal you are to somebody.

His childhood friends are Diamond D and Lord Finesse. Doing graffiti since his early teens. Was down with Violators from jump.

Dude was never allowed in, he's always been in

So that gives him a pass to use the N word, and disrespect black women on a public platform?

I personally have never thought of him as a top tier MC, and it appears that he managed to get a seat at the table via association. Dude is super sensitive, and that was very evident last night when he realized that his catalog of music is not as good as his yes people hype it up to be.

I remember when he was on Wildin Out, he threatened to beat up anyone who dissed him.

Im surprised 50 didn’t comment on Fat Joe lying about producing Candy Shop.

This.

It's not like we're in Texas or Cali where Mexicans are creating a race war against us.

2 entirely different cultures. New Yoricans don't even fukk with white supremacist.

some people just don’t get it..... I have half Puerto Rican cousins.... there’s racist within every culture/ethnicity... fat joe ain’t one of them.
