What’s with all this forcing of Fat Joe everywhere? I must’ve been underestimating how much influence and pull he has in hip hop all this time. Like AZ, Slick Rick, AND Nas? Where the hell does Fat Joe fit in this picture, respectfully?
Fat Joe is that guy who always touches base with everyone to see how they're doing. He's the guy who everyone just spoke to not too long ago. Besides that, Fat Joe came along around the same time Nas and AZ did (I think Nas was heard of first, but Crack dropped an album before both of them).

He's also a big philanthropist.

Fat Joe is a certified legend. Been around since dropping his first album Represent in ‘93 which was truly a landmark NYC/East Coast return to hardcore Hip-Hop in a time right around the West Coast G-Funk gangster era taking over. The fact that Joe is still relevant today because of his contributions & positivity is quite astounding. Never seen as a lyricist or top tier rapper but just churned out hit after hit & brought along Big Pun & helped him become the first Latin rapper to go Platinum. Always full of love & loyalty he has truly remained a pillar in Hop-Hop. Truly a legend in every sense of the word.
