Well to be fair. The Big Pun and Prodigy funeral story were hilarious. Saying there was a band playing 'survival of the fittest' it could have been The Roots lol.

I just think they need more energy, a guest or let them smoke and relax first. You can tell the camera crew and etc is what is killing their vibes since they're both kind of stone cold sober.

I agree. Never heard a hot verse from Fat Joe. And we could make a big compilation of Jada verses from features alone.

Joe sounds like an inferior guy who talks a lot hoping everyone will pay him attention. Wait till he starts spamming his ducktales, they will have to cancel the show unless this is what the show producers wanted, then Jada has no purpose of being on this show, just let Joe tell his Ducktales alone.

the first episode is basically like a pilot to a TV show or a mission statement to get a feel for what they're about to do.

I can count the amount of pilots of shows I LOVE that started off tremendously. At best they were good enough to cause me to wanna stick around for the next one and then they get comfortable.

honestly, that's his natural disposition. Jada only looks amped on stage. I saw him twice on 7pm In Brooklyn (Melo's pod) and he'll sit there like he's watching paid programming, but he's engaged the whole time and droppin stories and gems.

I don't think I have more room in my life for another podcast, but I hope it works. Clearly they got people who do podcasts who think them two doing a podcast is a great idea.

Rappers starting podcasts reminds me of rappers starting their own clothing brands in the early 2000s.

and it worked until it got saturated and we moved on as a society from rapper clothing brands.


Podcasts are here to stay. We're just gonna be really selective about which ones we check for and usually the ones who got there first (like Budden and NORE) reap the bigger rewards.

Facts. I like it already.

Problem with most podcasts for me, is that I didn't care about the people before they started podcasting. Jada and Joe are my guys. And they're mad funny, in person. So I know that's gonna come out on the show too. And that's really all I want from it, is quality talk, some funny stories and jokes. Those two got that.
