"someone like kanye" as in the greatest producer of his generation?
And how do you know that he "begged" him? Maybe they're friends.
If pu was alive he would be 41 and probably as cold as Joe.

And let's not act like he didn't fukk with cats.

The fact that you place Pun in any category with Joe speaks volumes about how much you know about them.

We NEVER loved Fat Joe. At the same time, you would never find any Puerto Rican kid out there without a Big Pun poster or cassette when he was alive.

I won't even talk about how superior Pun was in terms of Emceeing to Joe.

Stick to something you know about b, this is out of your radar.

as a boriquan, it kills me to see joe practically begging someone like kanye to rock up at his shyt.

if pun was here, things would be so different.

How do you know he was begging him? You hating on the nikka for no reason. Joe is a legend in the game stop being salty

He's a huge piece of hip hop history and he's from the golden era so I always fukk wit him

He don't even look any where near 41, losing all that weight did a world of good for him :wow:

I find it amazing that you guys can call Joe a legend, and us and the people in our community, his people, don't. I'm not saying you're wrong and we right, but it's ironic.

He's our Snoop Dogg. The difference is he doesn't have a Doggystyle to make him an immortal.

What the fukk are you talking about, I don't care where you're from or who people from Puerto Rico in the Bronx thought. Im thinking about what a lot of people all over the country thought and Joe was respected in the 90s.

Pun fukked with Wyclef, busta rhymes, Joe and other soft people cause they were talented. Just like fat joe is doing.

So people all over the country thought that Joe was nicer than Pun? Get the fukk outta here.

It was always Pun well and truly shoulders above Joe on anything related to emceeing. For one, it's quite clear Pun wrote a lot of Joe's material, including the vast majority of Don Cartegna. This has been said by the likes of Cuban Link, Triple Seis, Armageddon and even Fat Joe himself to an extent.

Pun messed with talented people because he wanted to show that he could compete with them. Never once did he lose sight of who he was and what he was about though. Joe is the opposite, he's been whoring himself with with any dudes and shifted his entire style and picked up any trend in embarrassing ways.

fat joe might not be a legend, but he's certainly a pioneer, and one of the few artists who care about this culture.

Underrated rhyming

There's a darkside of Texas too, word to syndicate
No matter how intricate shyt gets, the hit you get
Joe Crack, yeah man on fire
Conversatin with the devil, rockin diamond messiahs
Uhh, I seek the truth while the streets admire me
Killers across the world say it's me they inspire to be
Feds on my back from my ties to criminology
Can't look back now, tomorrow's never promised B
Where I'm from, for (president) we voted Eric B
Joe been crack way before my philosophy
