Fat Trel signs with Master P

I like this move for Master P...as long as Master P stay behind the scenes then this could work.

Master P knows how to hustle. Nobody makes $500M by luck. Master P knows how to sell music and Fat Trel has a fan base and talent which means Master P has a good product. So he can get his music out for Trel plus I don't think Master P has any bad relationships so people might be willing to give Master P and his label a fair listen.

Then this makes no sense to me- why would Johnny Shipes (who managed to get Big Krit a Def Jam deal and turn Joey Bada$$ into one of the most buzzed about young rappers off of one mixtape) let one of his artists sign to No Limit who despite their history, are now pretty much non factors in 2012? Makes even less sense when he's just secured a distribution deal from Sony to put out music from all the artists he manages (bar Krit)....
