I was just talking about this! I was reading this blog and the girl that writes it is vegan. I looked at her picture and she was fat…I was so confused.

It's more about what you eat and not what you don't eat. They just aren't eating meat. It's about plant based diets. That's the plus side of veganism. Too many "vegans" aren't eating enough plants and think they are fine. Lol you can eat 4000 calories of nonsense pretty quick without touching a fruits and veggies. In my own experience I've never seen a fat "vegan" for the most part it's not possible. As a "vegan" athlete it's been the best thing to ever come into my life.

Why can't vegan's eat wheat?.

I forgot to mention these people may be fat because they are low in hormones, for different reasons. They can eat small calorie meals all day and still be fat, just a skinny fat. Hormones are really the secret, not necessarily calories, to fat loss..
Gluten is the new devil.

So you're a vegan? :mjpls:

Yes. I flirted with pescatarianism for about 3 years, then vegetarian and now I've finally committed. :blessed: It feels great. First couple of weeks were rough because it was around the time I upped my mileage in running so playing around with the calories and finding the optimal number was hard but I'm settling in. My recovery is better.

Water, tea and almond milk :blessed: And I have plant based shake that I take every couple of days. For me the most important thing is watching my iron levels. A lot of vegan athletes have this trouble. :lupe: Blood work will be done in June for me. All in all things have been great. :obama:

It's really about habit changing. Most of my sugar intake comes from fruits and vegetables now. That was the hardest change for me because I legit have a sweet tooth. Before after a run I absolutely had to have a powerade. After 3 weeks of switching I tried to have a powerade after a run and it tasted like cough syrup. It was too sweet and it wasn't "food". I could taste the junk. I could taste the machinery that processed and packaged it. Lol It was crazy breh. I mostly drink water and milk. Tea once a day.

If she's serious she'll read the literature and change. If not she'll just embarrass herself and become fodder for the water cooler.

Finding Ultra

The Omnivore's Delight

The China Study

Engine 2 Diet..

Four essential books IMO that need to be read.
