Defense has always won championships, and still does. QB's are the single most important position, but a great defense is still king.

You cant play "great" defense anymore the rules dont allow it,its arena league football now youre no longer gonna see 2000 Ravnes defenses anymore its impossible

And my point was, All the major dynasties combined a QB who didnt throw picks in the PS and a great pass defense

The only reason we are doing that is because we have no QB... If you look at 2009 when we went to the NFC championship game, we were a heavy passing offense and having Adrian was just the icing on the cake.... Once we get a QB and fire musgrave, we wont be "building around Adrian"...

I'm not arguing against the passing game, I'm saying you can still build around a run game and win. I just don't think you should break the bank on one back.

You cant, the rules make it too easy for elite qb's or at least veyr good ones who can throw deep,building around a rb in todays nfl is comically dumb and archaic

But breh 2/3 of the league does not have an elite passing attack. For every Manning or Rodgers there are many Ponders, Palmers, etc... It's not EASY to find a QB even with how the rules have been changed.
