Oh wow.... that's just really weird and fukked up lmao. This nikka's parents are savages :wow:

While this parent's reaction to poor grades might be heavy-handed and ultimately counterproductive, the son here needs to do his homework, study and improve his grades. If the father succeeds in motivating his son, all will be well. If he fails his son's chances of ending up in jail, dead or a deadbeat increase exponentially. Go read Tiger Mom's book (both her kids in Yale and working at investment banks). A Chinese father with a genius son basically said that people often coddle children with respects to learning material and success. Parents expect little of their children and invest less into them than is necessary. He remarked that kids have incredible potential and succeed best when they are pushed to achieve. Children are like women: they don't know what they want. Parents are responsible to add direction and force into children. Children need to be spoken to in full sentences and with full vocabulary and forced to succeed at an early age. Then when the child is old enough, the parent's pushing will be unnecessary. The child will have learned to ride his bike--or succeed in math, science, study, etc--on his own.

This is dumb...did he get bad grades because he CHOSE to ignore his work or did he get bad grades because he is struggling to UNDERSTAND his work. Humiliation doesn't make a kid smarter.

This might make him resent his parents. Especially for the fact that they immortalized this photo and put it online for the world to see. :snoop:

Should've tried to get to the root of the kid's academic struggles first, it could be unintentional
